Oahu Golf Courses
Oahu boasts vast tracts of farm and forest, with ocean and mountain vistas everywhere you turn. The island’s course designers have taken full advantage of what nature has handed them. Wonderful layouts located on or overlooking the central Ewa Plain include Ko' Olina designed by Ted Robinson, Coral Creek designed by Robin Nelson, and Hawaii Prince, an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay design. Turtle Bay Resort, on the famed North Shore, has completed its course remodeling and now features 36 holes with its Palmer Course and Fazio Course.
Not to be missed are the dramatic courses on the windward side of the island including Ko'olau, which has been called one of America’s toughest courses, and Luana Hills which beautifully defines jungle target golf.
- Ko'olau Golf Club is one of the most inspiring golf experiences you will ever play. It offers breathtaking views of majestic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and the Pacific Ocean. Set on the beautiful windward side of Oahu, Ko'olau's natural setting provided master golf course architect Dick Nugent with the opportunity to create a gem of a golf course that encompasses over 280 acres of spectacular terrain with a layout unlike any other in the world.

- Luana Hills Country Club is simply an incredible tropical experience of classic golf. It is a journey from wide open spaces on hillsides below the magic mountain of Olomana to a dense tropical jungle that showcases Hawaiian flora and birds. Architect Pete Dye has masterfully created a wonderful high risk/high reward course from this beautiful setting. Measuring a modest 6,595 yards from the back tees, golfers have much to consider as they tee up before an array of forced carries, bunkers bordered by railroad ties, par-3s over streams, and undulating bent grass fairways.

- Turtle Bay Resort Golf Club
The North Shore of Oahu is once again known for more than just great surfing. A recently completed $30 million renovation has put golf at Turtle Bay Resort back on the map. Some would argue it is better than before. The Senior PGA Tours now calls annually on Turtle Bay's Arnold Palmer-designed course, previously know at the Links at Kuilima. The Arnold Palmer Course remains one of the best on Oahu. It is built near the ocean, but only the 17th hole actually gets down to where you can see the surf. The course is characterized by huge waste bunkers, plenty of water hazards, and a marine wildlife sanctuary around which several holes are built.
The original George Fazio Course has been restored with two new holes to compliment the more challenging Arnold Palmer Course. It is more playable and fun for all levels, but will also provide the better golfer with a very good test if played from the back.
The Palmer and Fazio Course at Turtle Bay Resort provide two distinctly different experiences. The Palmer Course features sand, water, wind, and rolling terrain, and is the site of the PGA Champions Tour, Turtle Bay Championship. The Fazio Course has hosted the LPGA Tour’s Hawaiian Open and was the site of the first Senior Skins Game. This is George Fazio’s only golf course in Hawaii, and it has generous fairways, deep bunkers and immaculately sculpted greens.
