Useful tips and comments for reference while participating in Kauai's activities.

Always carry a map or the Concierge book with you.
Don't drive over the speed limit in Kauai; the local police don't appreciate it.
Wear a bathing suit on all activities, except golf, because you almost always get wet.
Golf: Don't explore off the trails or golf course fairways in Kauai because if a large insect doesn't bite you a plant will. Arrive at least 30 minutes early for all golf tee times. If you need to cancel your tee time, call at least 48 hours ahead.
Fill your days with outdoor activities on Kauai because the nights are best left for indoor exploration.
For you comfort on water or trek adventures, it's advised to bring a towel, appropriate footwear, and possibly mosquito repellent.
