Maui Tours and Activities

Useful tips and comments for reference while participating in Maui's activities.
  • Allow enough time for driving and parking. When booking an activity, ask your reservation agent about drive time and parking information. (Activity maps supply general driving directions only.)
  • Cameras, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes are great to bring. On water or trek adventures, bring a bathing suit, towel and possibly mosquito repellent. Extras that are a hassle to carry around: books, jackets (except for Haleakala sunrise), frisbees and beer.
  • Golf: Arrive at least 30 minutes early for golf tee times. If you need to cancel your tee time, call at least 48 hours ahead. Grass grain on the greens generally runs towards the island of Molokai. Putts will break and be faster in this direction.
  • For activities that include hotel pick up, make sure you are waiting at the designated pick up spot when the bus arrives. Drivers will not wait for late sleepers.
  • Traffic between Wailea and Kaanapali is usually heavy from 4-6:30 p.m. on weekdays.
